2. Exam rules (Odoo 18, Odoo 19 is the same)
- 125 questions, 90 minutes, about 43 seconds per question.
- Pass mark 70 %.
- +1 for a right answer, −0.5 for a wrong one, 0 for unanswered.
- Skip a question, or de-select your choice, when you can't eliminate at least one option.
- Rule of thumb: with 3 options, guess only if you can rule out one of them.
- The certification is nominative: log in with the account the certificate should go to.
- Questions come one section per page. Click Continue to move on. You cannot go back, so review each page before you continue.
- Pressing CTRL+Enter = Continue / Submit.
- At the end you get the score plus a performance-by-section chart. Screenshot it, because it shows where to study.

3. Where points were lost (consolidated across attempts)

Sections that scored 100 % in at least one attempt: Introduction, Survey, Knowledge, Marketing, Sales, HR, Spreadsheet, AI (v19). These are cheap points, so drill them until they are automatic.
4. Time strategy
- First 60 minutes: answer everything you know cold. If you're unsure, leave it blank and note the question number on paper.
- With only one pass allowed per page, decide on each page before you click Continue. Don't park questions for "later", because there is no later.
- Calculation questions (reordering, putaway, lead times, delivery rules, work-center capacity) take the most time. Use the worked examples in until the formulas are automatic.
- Aim to finish with ≥10 minutes spare. The recordings show the timer at 70+ minutes left after half the exam, so time is rarely the problem. Accuracy is.
5. Preparation method (works best)
- Create a free Odoo 18 trial database (odoo.com/trial, or runbot.odoo.com for any version) with demo data.
- For each module in the question bank, click through the answer in the database. The exam is written from the UI, so seeing the button or field locks in the answer.
- Read the official documentation pages for Accounting, Inventory and MRP. Many questions are lifted from the doc wording (e.g., "Only fields stored in the database can be sorted").
- Run the practice labs in .
- Do a timed self-test using the day before.
6. Reading the question carefully
- "NOT" / "FALSE" questions appear in nearly every section. Underline them mentally.
- "Both A and B" / "All of the above" is correct more often than random in this exam, especially in Project, Timesheets and Sales.
- The option that is too absolute ("only", "never", "always", "must contact Odoo support") is usually wrong.
- The option that names the exact menu path or field label is usually right. Odoo writes questions from its own UI.
